How to play Bike Universe

Start Bike Universe in the right order: spawn in, learn the HUD buttons, pick your first bike, bank your first cash and know what the screen is telling you.

Quick answer

You spawn next to your garage. The bottom row of buttons is your whole game: SHOP buys bikes and parts, BUILD changes them, BIKES opens your collection, PHONE holds the app menus and SPAWN moves your spawn. Get moving, hold the throttle, and every clean stunt pays cash on the spot.

Bike Universe drops you next to a dealer lot with a bike you did not choose, a row of five buttons you have not read, and cash already ticking upward the moment you move. Ten minutes of doing it in the right order saves a session of riding in circles.

Your first ten minutes, in order

1. Ride before you understand anything. Hold the throttle and follow the road out of the lot. Cash only moves while you are moving, so the earliest minutes of the game are pure riding — no purchase, no menu, no decision.

2. Read the bottom row once. SHOP buys and sells, BUILD changes what you own, BIKES opens your garage, PHONE holds the app menus, SPAWN moves where you come back. That is the whole interface.

3. Turn on shift lock before you try anything clever. With SHIFT and LOCK active the camera stays behind the bike, which is the difference between holding a line at 100 km/h and wobbling off the kerb.

4. Open BIKES and look at what you already have. The garage screen has a search field, four filters — ALL, E-BIKES, MOTORBIKES, SPORT BIKES — and an EQUIPPED tag on the bike you are riding. Two minutes here stops you buying something you already own.

5. Learn one stunt. A bunny hop is the cheapest stunt to repeat, and it pays like any other landed trick. Do it twenty times until it never fails, then add a second one.

6. Then spend. Early cash is better spent on parts and on a bike that fits how you actually ride than on anything cosmetic. The money guide covers what pays and in what order.

The controls you actually use

InputWhat it does
Throttle (GAS)Accelerates; the speed readout climbs from 0 to 140 km/h in normal riding
REAR BRAKEThe brake pedal in the bike panel — the one you will use most
SHIFT / LOCKShift lock and camera lock; keep the view behind the bike at speed
HOP / UPStunt and hop inputs, paired with the stunt names in the action strip
Action stripGET OFF SEAT, STAND, 1 HAND, NO HANDS and the stunt set — the prompt changes with what the bike is doing
SHOP / BUILD / BIKES / PHONE / SPAWNThe five interface buttons, always in the same place

What the readouts mean while you ride

Two numbers matter when you are learning. The speed readout tells you whether you have enough pace for a stunt — a wheelie at 40 km/h and a wheelie at 110 km/h are different tricks, and the game scores them differently. The cash readout tells you when a stunt paid: land a named trick and the payout prints in that moment, bail and the attempt is tagged BAILED with nothing attached.

The WANTED indicator is the third thing to watch. It lights up when the AI police decide you are worth chasing, and life gets much harder while it is on — how chases work.

Picking your first bike

The developers describe the game as having electric, dirt and pedal bikes, and the garage sorts them into E-BIKES, MOTORBIKES and SPORT BIKES. The bikes visible in the garage list include BMX, Pitster 110, Mayo 250cc and Suron, with the equipped one tagged and everything else sold through the same screen's buy option.

For a first purchase, match the bike to the riding you do rather than to the fastest number you can find: the ramps and open fields reward a bike that soaks up landings, while the highway and long blocks reward top speed and stability. The full breakdown is in bikes and the garage.

Where to go first

The map is one connected city. The dealer lot and your garage doors sit together, a multi-lane highway runs out toward wind turbines, side streets are lined with parked bikes, and grass fields off the road are full of ramps. Races and jobs run through the PHONE menu; between them the same roads work as stunt lines. Maps and races lists what is where.
